The Darkness 2 Reviews | Great Scores

The interwebs is now flooding with reviews from The Darkness II and they all seem to very pleased with the experience that this much anticipated sequel offers. Developed by Digital Extremes and published by 2K games, The Darkness II follows the story set 2 years after the original one.

In the Darkness II, protagonist Jackie Estacado, the current wielder of The Darkness, has used his powers to become the Don of the Franchetti crime family. He’s now faced with haunting illusions of his dead girlfriend Jenny Romano followed by events that have his body possessed by The Darkness.

The Darkness II came out on 7th Feb 2012 for the PC, XBox 360 and PlayStation 3. The below reviews seem pretty neat for the game however, most mentioned that the AI and gameplay mechanics of the game are sub-par. In any case, The Darkness II seems to be a pretty good buy.

Positives: Great Story
Negatives: Poor AI

Developer: Digital Extremes
