Failed Kickstarter project ‘Waveform’ gets release on Steam
Failed Kickstarter project Waveform finally sees a brighter light of the day with Valve bringing the game on Steam. Waveform is a brilliant innovative platformer with awesome looking visuals and great music.
The game reached it’s deadline without being able to reach it’s announced goal of $8000. The game drew a total of 106 backers contributing a total of $ 3,762.
“Waveform’s appearance on Steam looks very promising these days, with us just recently getting access to the Steamworks SDK to incorporate into Waveform. This is huge news for us, as Steam is such a dominant games platform for PC and Mac gamers. Please keep supporting us and let’s make the Steam release an event to remember!,” write an ecstatic team behind the game.
You play as a light particle traveling on a wave moving through space and get to control the amplitude of the wave to line it up with the game’s objectives, avoid obstacles and allow your light particle to interact with a vast array of objects that will affect gameplay and a lot more.
Developed by Eden Industries, Waveform is also to see an in-game level editor made available as a free DLC pretty soon. Waveform is currently on sale till March 27th for $5.95 following which the game will be priced at $6.99.
The developer is also looking to bring Waveform to iOS, Android and Mac however, needs revenue to work on porting the game. Good luck Eden Industries!
