Warner Bros to start distributing Codemasters titles
Codemasters, UK-based developer and publisher, responsible for games like GRID, DiRT and the F1 series, has signed an agreement with Warner Bros to have the latter take responsibility of distributing, selling and marketing Codemasters’ titles in the Americas.
Previously, THQ handled Codemasters’ distribution in the US and it may be possible that Codemasters favored Warner Bros following rumors about THQ shutting down studios following it up with layoffs and a possible rumor that THQ may shut down business.
In any case, starting this year, Warner Bros. (WBIE), will take responsibility of Codemasters’ titles including the upcoming DiRT Showdown and F1 2012.
