Journey sells faster than Pancakes, breaks PSN records

Indie developer Thatgamecompany’s PlayStation 3 exclusive Journey is now the fastest selling game on the PlayStation Network in the US.

Writing on the Official PlayStation Blog, Jenova Chen, creative director mentioned that the company is thankful to everyone for spending time and money on Journey. “Thanks to you, Journey has officially broken PlayStation Network and PlayStation Storesales records, surpassing all first and third-party games to become the fastest-selling game ever released in the SCEA region on the PlayStation Network.”

“The reaction to Journey has been even more overwhelming. We have received more letters from fans in the two weeks since Journey’s launch than we did for Flowerover the past three years!”
