Halo 4 hitting stores in November this year
Microsoft has revealed that the next iteration in the critically successful, platform moving franchise is getting a world wide release in November this year with Halo 4. The game marks the return of Master Chief, one of the most popular video game characters in video gaming history.
Taken over from Bungie by 343 Studios, Microsoft aims to cement another decade with the popular franchise. ”We are beginning a new saga with ‘Halo 4′ and embarking on a journey that will encompass the next decade of ‘Halo’ games and experiences,” said Phil Spencer, corporate vice president of Microsoft Studios. “Millions of fans worldwide have been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to step back into the boots of Master Chief, and, with ‘Halo 4′ leading the charge, we’re confident 2012 will be the most successful year in Xbox history.”
Check out our First Look on Halo 4 while you wait for the game’s release in November this year. Although, Halo 3 never really answered questions about the future of Master Chief or his AI companion Cortana, Halo 4 aims on re-inventing the story telling experience.
