The Banner Saga gets Final Video Update, More Backing for More Features
Stoic Studios, developers of the Kickstarter revolution The Banner Saga, have delivered a final update two days before the game’s funding closes to the public on 20th April 2012.
While the developers are clearly overwhelmed by the amount of support this public funded game has received, they’ve also promised to put extra money into developing more content and features for the game.
They’ve already roped in Austin Wintory to compose music for the game and will require more money if they are to bring in a full orchestral soundtrack to the game. The game also requires more funding to have it ported to XBLA and PSN in addition to bringing a city building feature that was taken off the initial design due to heavy resource requirement. Check out the video for an invite to meet the developers!
