Batman: Arkham City Final DLC incoming Next Month
Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have announced the release of Batman: Arkham City’s Game of the Year Edition to be on May 29th. This newly unveiled edition will include the main game, all the previously released add-ons and DLC packs along with the movie Batman: Year One and also the final DLC for the game, Harley Quinn’s Revenge.
Batman fans across Europe will have to wait a bit longer though, as the Game of the Year Edition is slated for a September 7th release. Unfortunately the Game of the Year Edition has been announced only for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms. Looks like Rocksteady is set out to anger the PC gaming community yet again with their extreme love for the console. Oh well, time to move on.
The GOTY Edition will include Batman: Arkham City (and every update applied to the game since release), as well as all previously released downloadable content packs. This sure is turning out to be a killer pack.
The Harley Quinn’s Revenge story arc will bring players back to Arkham City where they will play as Batman and Robin, fighting against new thugs in previously unseen environments. Players will make use of each character’s unique skills on their way to uncovering Harley’s evil plan.
Batman fans across the globe can pick up the Harley Quinn’s Revenge DLC outside of the Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition via separate download beginning on May 29th.
The game’s bundle will release on May 29th on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live for $10. Gamers on the Xbox 360 also have an additional option to get the pack with 800 MS points.
