Experience Hitman Sniper Challenge on Pre-Ordering Hitman Absolution

Developer IO Interactive announced that gamers pre-ordering Hitman: Absolution can experience a taste of assassination with the pre-order bonus - Hitman: Sniper Challenge. Although, this is not part of the main game, it does offer a taste of the vast gameplay experience that gamers will experience in the Hitman: Absolution universe.

Starting May 15th, Gamers will be able to pre-order their copies of Hitman: Absolution and get the Sniper Challenge standalone experience. ”Agent 47 is the best in the business so it seemed appropriate to create the best pre-order reward possible for our fans,” said Jon Brooke, Brand Director of the Hitman Franchise. Hitman: Sniper Challenge is a way of thanking customers and giving them a taste of Agent 47′s skills from the moment they pre-order the game.”

Sniper Challenge puts you on a balcony that’s overlooking a roof-top party. You are tasked with taking out Richard Strong, Jr., CEO of Stallion Armaments, along with his entire staff of bodyguards. Featuring score multipliers, more secrets, equipment upgrade unlocks and some of the most creative ways to dispose a body, Sniper Challenge is proving to be a great reward for anyone pre-ordering the game.

The standalone pack also allows gamers to carry over the high-powered Kazo TRG Sniper Rifle and a host of other upgrades to the main game. Gamers can also compare their sniping abilities with players around the world, supported by various other challenges to find who’s got the best sniping skills in the pack. Hitman: Absolution drops on the 20th November 2012 for XBox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows based PCs. Pre-Order begins 15th May 2012. The PC version of the game is to be made available on Steam starting August 1st.
