Blizzard Unveils Diablo III Starter Edition

Blizzard Entertainment has come up with a new Starter Edition for Diablo III. This new edition will contain a trial version of the game which will let players have access to Act I up to the Skeleton King, but will have a level 13 cap, no access to the Auction House, and restricts matchmaking to other Starter Edition players. The features of this edition from Blizzard sure seems a lot like the beta version of the game.

Apparently, every purchased copy of Diablo III will contain a secret number of Guest Passes of the game to be distributed among the buyer’s friends and fill the void in their lives, at least for a while.

The Starter Edition will evidently be available to everyone a month after Diablo 3′s official release, which is tomorrow on May 15th 12:01 AM PDT.
