Tomb Raider’s Trailer Gets a Teaser

Crystal Dynamics‘ upcoming action-adventure open world video game, Tomb Raider, recently got a trailer within another trailer, Inception anyone? Which apparently reveals the hardships faced by Lara Croft in order to survive the physical and emotional torture she is put through after being separated from her expedition team thanks to a catastrophic storm which sinks the ship she was aboard.

This episode of Tomb Raider will be the first in a planned trilogy, the game is set to provide no correlation to the entirety of the previous entries in the series. This game will be a reboot that emphasizes the reconstructed origins of the culturally influential lead character, Lara Croft.

GTTV apparently promises to reveal the full trailer, of the teaser, on May 31st at 10PM PST. Tomb Raider was a planned title which was supposed to release during Q4 2012 but, evidently got delayed into 2013. Let’s hope the fans of the series will not be disappointed and the reboot will stand strong.
