Crystal Graziano – Mother of Cosplay

Crystal Graziano, better known by the online handle “crystalcosfx,” on DeviantArt, “Precious Cosplay” on Facebook, “@itsprecioustime” on Twitter is probably the most phenomenal cosplayer you’ll come across. Read the full story to check out the Gallery.

Crystal Graziano lives in Southern California with her husband Todd and her Shiba-Inu Ginger. She started cos-playing at the San Diego comic-con in 2005 and has since then, drawn great liking to this hobby. Well, her time has certainly paid off as she’s also got a phenomenal fan following socially for her efforts and attention to detail. She’s also being sponsored sometimes by Red 5 Studios (makers of the online Free to play FPS Firefall).

Graziano is self-taught in all her skills and it clearly shows in the moods she is able to convey with her cosplay. In most of the pictures below, she has designed the costume herself. No wonder she is the “Mother of Cosplay.”
